On SD 50109.03, the Manticore, along with other fleet ships, was at Risa to honor the admission of the Kratli to the Federation. The fleet was attacked by an unknown enemy and the ships that were still spaceworthy, moved off from Risa to regroup and analyze the new threat.
Over the next two months of the conflict with this new foe, the Toran'ir, the Manticore was tasked with a variety of missons including towing the USS Garnet to a repair base (SD 50109.17), escorted and deployed a modified Tholian web around Starbase 123 (SD 50109.24), patrolled around Renaissance Station and obtained intell from the USS Illustrator (SD 50110.08), joined Task Force 510 in the Gusta Nebula in the Romulan Neutral Zone (SD 50110.29), destroyed a Toran'ir communications relay and the enemy ships guarding it (SD 50111.05), joined with Task Force 110 for the final assualt on the Toran'ir that ended the conflict (SD 50111.19)
